Avery & Grant | Wentworth by the Sea New Hampshire Wedding Pictures

Avery and Grant invited friends and family from around the country to celebrate their wedding at Wentworth by the Sea, an historic hotel that epitomizes romance and grandeur. This luxurious oceanfront resort offers incredible scenes of stunning architecture, lush gardens, and panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

The forecast for their wedding day evolved into a 100% chance of precipitation in excess of 1 inch. Yikes. Fortunately, it just didn’t matter. When I met Avery in the morning with mimosa in hand, she was carefree as could be about the rain!

Wentworth by the Sea happens to be, in my opinion as a professional wedding photographer, one of the very best places for an indoor wedding from start to finish for the lavish ballroom reception (expertly draped and uplit by Pink Tie Productions, as you’ll see), the large ceremony space with opulent chandeliers, and the spacious ‘getting ready’ room for the bridesmaids. And to top it off, when you add in bountiful floral arrangements from Jardiniere Flowers, you can’t help but forget that the outdoors were ever a consideration.

Among the many personal touches that Avery and Grant put into their wedding day, there are a few highlights I want to point out that stand out from one wedding to the next.

  • A groomsmen played and sang a solo on the dance floor for Avery and Grant to dance to. It was really impressive and heartfelt!

  • A bride’s toast, in which Avery addressed the room to express her gratitude as well as to preface the dance with her dad that was about to follow. “We often sang and danced in the living room to this song when I was a little girl, and so, here we go, Dad!” She said with a smile, handed off the mic, and busted out energetically to Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire.” It was a hit, and guests soon crowded around to join in the dance.

  • The “Montana Crew,” whose upbeat energy and subtle accent were detectable throughout the night. It’s wonderful how your wedding brings in friends and family from near and far.

In summary, Avery & Grant’s wedding was a wonderful celebration undeterred by the rain.
