Frequently Asked Questions

Your wedding photographer is someone that you select to be with you on the red carpet event of your life. This list of Frequently Asked Questions is to help you learn more about wedding photography. If you have additional questions, please call or bring your questions to the studio for your wedding consultation.

Q. Could you describe your style of wedding photography?

Cinematic meets posed photojournalism. This is how I create dramatic, high impact portraits with natural looking poses while incorporating the scene. This creates artwork for you to display on the walls in your home to celebrate your wedding day in ways that your friends and family rave about. Other parts of your day, such as the wedding ceremony and reception, are photographed in line with traditional photojournalism, whereby everything is photographed as it naturally unfolds. I have a tried and true system for photographing each part of your wedding day to ensure a complete story for your wedding album.

Q. Do you photograph destination weddings?

Yes, both domestic and international. All-inclusive destination packages with extended coverage are available to capture your wedding anywhere in the world. Don't become a hot mess sifting through foreign languages and currencies for your photographer. Bring me along! All-inclusive destination packages solve that problem for you. Please inquire for more details.

Q. When will our images be ready?

2 weeks. Yes, you read that correctly: 2 weeks (not 8 weeks, not 8 months). Your complete collection of wedding photos will be professionally edited, one at a time, and available within two weeks of your wedding. You will be hard pressed to find anyone with a faster turn-around time while ensuring the same level of consistently high quality.

Q. How far out should we inquire for our wedding?

Our wedding photography is commonly booked 8-16 months in advance. If you are getting married this year, there's a chance your date may be available. Definitely check in.

Q. Do your wedding packages come with a second photographer?

Yes. Most weddings require 8-10 hours of photography, and so almost all couples book a package that includes a second photographer. This is ideal because it provides you with a stronger story through complimentary photos from a different perspective. For example, often times, one of us will be tightly focused on a moment, while the other is capturing the surrounding scene.

Q. My partner and I are eloping or having a very small wedding ceremony. Do you have a package for that?

Yes. For off-season and midweek ceremonies, a 2-hour packages begin at $995.

Yes. I photograph every wedding and engagement photography session. There are no surprises about who will be with you on your wedding day. I'll be right there with you.

Q. Can we print and share images on our own?

Yes. I mean, if you really want to print your own photos along with the 3,832 on your hard drive, have at it! Most wedding packages include a limited usage release allowing you to print as many copies of your wedding photos as you please. But, I'm guessing there's a higher likelihood you will actually have prints for your family to hold come Thanksgiving if you just let our studio handle that for you. What a relief.

Q. Do you offer wedding albums?

High quality genuine leather albums are a hallmark of our studio. Every wedding photography package comes with an album. In fact, much of your wedding day is photographed specifically for your album. Your album is the way to preserve and relive the memories. Our wedding albums are archival quality, meaning they will not fade or yellow. Your album is professionally designed and customized for you. This is your first heirloom for your new family, and something valuable that you'll cherish for years and generations to come.
